We offer tours Monday through Saturday between the times of 8am-9:30am and 4pm-5:30pm. Offering tours at these times curtails barking and decreases the stress on our guests.

The Dog Lodge at Dandy Acres is a truly spectacular facility built on 3 acres of beautiful property in South Lyon! Our facility is split between two buildings, maintaining a safe separation between our active, young, larger breeds and the senior or itty bitty dogs. We also are able to maintain small playgroups of around 10 dogs maximum in our Standard sections, and 2-4 in our Specialized section.
Each building is set with top-of-the-line equipment and specs to ensure the safety & comfort of our guests! Surfaces, doors...even paint...all are designed to minimize the transmission of noise to our neighbors, other dogs, and our clients and staff. We also utilize fire-proof baffling throughout to reduce noise transmission. Beyond this, we also have dehumidifiers, air filters, exhaust fans, and UV lights to help maintain the air quality as well.
The most exciting part of our facility, in our doggy guests opinion at least, is the beautiful outdoor areas! We have a large, fenced in pasture area that our guests can romp and roam in, as well as outdoor Sniffari Trails that we will open up for leash walks a few times a year. Our pastures are currently sporting new, custom made playground equipment for dogs to enjoy as well!
