To get your dog started with Doggy Daycare, your dog will need to be up-to-date on our vaccine requirements and will need to complete an Introduction Day.

Why Doggy Daycare?
Is your dog getting restless at home alone all the time? Doggy daycare is a great way to get them the exercise and socialization many dogs crave!
At The Dog Lodge, your dog will be able to socialize & play in a group of dogs around their own size and temperament. Our playgroups offer an indoor area with toys and Kuranda beds so dogs can romp or relax, as well as an outdoor, fenced-in patio so pups can enjoy the sunshine. Dogs will be in playgroup for up to 8 hours, with a few breaks in between group times to give them some time to decompress while the staff cleans the facility.
Daycare Routine
Dogs thrive on routine and structure. The consistency brings comfort & confidence, especially in new environments! We set up our routine to reinforce a structure of playtime and rest time, helping dogs learn how to take breaks, communicate and respect boundaries, and ensures they don’t over-exert themselves. Our guests follow a routine, giving them 8 hours of playtime a day split into 1-3 hour chunks with kennel break time in between, giving our staff time to clean and our guests time to rest & decompress. This keeps their minds sharp, their spirits up, and prevents overexertion and burnout! It also keeps our facility clean, hygienic & in top shape for our guests.
Our Playgroups: Standard Daycare
We build our playgroups based off of size and temperament. At The Dog Lodge, we house our Medium & Large dogs in our Back Building and our Smalls and Extra Smalls in our Front Building, ensuring safety for our itty bitty guests. These sections are our “Standard” playgroups, hosting up to 10-15 dogs in each group.
Dogs are able to socialize and play with other dogs, get extra cuddles from our staff, play with heavy-duty toys, and practice their manners with group skill exercises, such as Group Sits and Door Management. These activities work out their minds and bodies, letting you bring home a happy & tired dog at the end of the day!
Our Playgroups: Specialized Daycare
We at the Dog Lodge know that every dog is different and that there are a number of dogs who don’t do well in a regular, active playgroup for a number of reasons. This can include medical reasons, age, or even just being overwhelmed in high energy, highly stimulating situations. For these dogs, we offer Specialized Daycare services!
Dogs in our Specialized section still socialize with anywhere between 1-6 other dogs who are selected by our senior staff members to ensure extra safety and maintaining a calmer atmosphere with more 1-on-1 time with staff members, usually substituting the extra physical activity that the Standard groups get with more mental stimulation & enrichment games. Think of our Standard group like a night club or football game, whereas our Specialized group is more like a book club or Bingo night!
Some dogs in our Specialized program can graduate to Standard services, though others are content to stay in Specialized.
Prices
A full day of Daycare is $36 for Standard and $39 for Specialized. However, you can save money in the long run by purchasing a Package. Daycare Packages allow you to prepay for either 10 or 20 days of Daycare at a discounted rate. Homes with multiple dogs get a discount of 1/2 off the regular price for Daycare or a Package for each additional dog as well!
You can make your dog’s stay extra special by adding on enrichment items, such as extra playtime, games, or snacks for an additional $5-10! We’re always offering extra special services, such as Lick Paintings, outdoor playtime, agility practice, scentwork exercises, and more!
